I was using the "ugly" permalinks with the ?p=... and changed it so that I was using Custom /%postname%/. Then I started getting a 404 Error. What fixed it for me is in the Apache httpd.conf file, I needed to change the Directory configuration for the domain from "AllowOverride None" to "AllowOverride FileInfo". Thanks for helping!
