Motorsports, although not new to the world, is still considered a
relatively new concept within the motoring fraternity in China.
Most of the motorsports activities (until recent times)
were mainly conducted in the province of Guangzhou, which has most of its
influence from Hong Kong and Macau.
However, with the recent completion of a high-end
Formula 1 race track in Shanghai, motorsports is now becoming an increasingly
popular sport among car owners and car clubs in Shanghai.
Many events have been organized, including local rally
races, international races such as the V8 race etc, which has helped raised the
enthusiasm and interest level amongst the local car owners.
As the BMW marque continues to thread forward as the
most preferred brand in China, and with its positioning as Sheer Driving
Pleasure, we at Lambda Autotec, together
with our strategic partners, hiop-RACETEC and Mobil, aims to
inject and introduce a new lifestyle to motorists in China, tuning for BMW,
Mini Coopers, as well as other European marques.
- OBD-CHIPTUNING
Chip tuning, otherwise known as
remapping of the engine management computers, is now super easy using the hiop
Cartune Program.
This is a simple, yet effective and reliable way to
obtain a significant increase in horsepower without major modifications, and
the new software are also more economical for the engine.
- SUPERCHARGING
hiop Compressor Systems are
designed for maximum power and economy, easy installation and low maintenance.
The twin screw Autorotor Direct Displacement
Compressors used in hiop kits are manufactured to the highest level of quality
with the design and tight production tolerances, providing reliability and
effective boost at very low engine revolutions.
This direct displacement kit by hiop is the only
type available in the market for BMW at the moment, and the characteristic
enables hiop to design its compressors to develop at least 75% of the
supercharged engine's maximum torque to be below 2500 rpm.
Installation of hiop's compressor kit can be
completed within 8 to 10 manhours by our trained technicians.
- EXHAUST (HEADERS AND SYSTEMS)
hiop
extractor header is manufactured in highly polished 100% stainless steel.
The systems are developed as simple "bolt on" units
for easy after-market installation (no welding required).
hiop exhaust systems which compliment the class of
vehicles they are designed for, are developed to produce additional power and
torque.
They are manufactured in 100% stainless steel for
high durability, have highly polished stainless steel pipes and are easy to
install (simple bolt on system).
- hiop SUSPENSIONS
hiop coil over suspension
systems are designed to have lower operating temperatures and pressures.
The coil over suspension is front/rear height
adjustable, up to 70mm. It comes in "Comfort" and "Sport" settings.
"Comfort" setting is sutiablel for street driving,
while "Sport" setting is designed as a compromise for street and Clubman's
competition.
Customer individual track settings may also be
ordered at a minimal additional cost.
- 6-PISTON BRAKES
hiop
aluminium six piston calipers comes with offset cylinders, a slim compact
design with a large piston area, which results in a light compact caliper with
superior clamping force, low drag and easy pad change.
hiop rotors are of a two-piece floating design with
aluminimum alloy centres and cross drilled ventilated. Sizes are from 340 - 365
mm.
The hiop brake kit gives your vehicle superior
braking, a sporty look, reduced unsprung weight for low wear and tear on your
suspension parts and improved handling.
